  • Grammie, respectfully, my mother and father took me out of stores and restaurants if I had a melt down. If I was too young to understand, then they'd leave and take me home.

  • Granted: 2 year olds will throw fits but what shall the rest of us do when we're trying to travel/work? Put up with it when parents can't get control? Rudeness isn't necessary but putting the child off the flight isn't unreasonable. Where's the compromise? There isn't one.

  • I'm tired of people not taking responsibility for their own actions or their kids' actions. If you can't control your kid, why should others have to suffer. So she is offended. Tough. Why should SW have to apologize because THEY acted responsibly when she wouldn't. Love that airlines!!

  • To those parents who don't want their children to hear ideas with which you disagree--take your children out of school now and stop wasting our tax dollars. And for god's sake, forget about sending them to college, a place where ideas are--SHOULD BE--challenged daily.
